    How to reach us

    The logistic, close to the the station of Trastevere, the stop of tram 8 and 3 and of several urban buses,  makes our guest house a perfect home from a strategic point of view, for a holiday in Rome. It ensures an excellent position for the arrival from and departure to Fiumicino Airport with the FL1 rail line.

    Tram

    Piazza Thorvaldsen (in the Villa Borghese) ↔ Trastevere railway station.

    Partially reopened on 27 August 2012. This is the longest line after line 19, going round the city centre in a wide arc from north via east to south-west. At the western endpoint Trastevere railway station, this line connects with the Regional railways (lines 1, 3 and 5), while connections with Metro A are at Manzoni and San Giovanni. There are four connections with metro Line B: one at Policlinico, and three on the stretch Piramide – Circo Massimo (Rome Metro) – Colosseo, where line 3 follows Metro B on the surface. The remainder of the line from the Roma Trastevere railway station to Piazzale Ostiense is still served by s substituted bus service, the 3B, pending the completion of infrastructural works.[3] On August 8th, 2016, the tram service was restored on this last segment. Line 3 now runs on its entire original route

    8 Piazza Venezia ↔ Via del Casaletto.

    Line 8 is the newest line of the system, always running with modern stock. It also reaches furthest into the historic city centre, connecting it with Trastevere railway station. Work on an extension began on June 19, 2012 [5] and the new terminus, located in piazza Venezia, opened on June 6, 2013.

    From and to Rome Fiumicino (FCO) airport (also known as Leonardo da Vinci airport)

    Suburban train (€8 per person).  

    The FL1 metropolitan service connects Fiumicino Airport with the station of Roma Trastevere. The FL1 suburban service has a number of stops. The trains leave Fiumicino airport starting at 5:57, with the last departure of the day at 22:42. Departures are frequent at the rush hours, and 15 to 20 minutes apart in the middle of the day. From the Station of Trastevere you can reach our guest house in a few minutes by walking.

    by taxi

    The fixed fare for a Rome taxi is €48 between FCO and central Rome (within the Aurelian walls) for up to four people and their luggage. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes to our guest house.

    Taxis licensed by the City of Rome, have the City Council’s crest (with “SPQR”) painted on the doors.

    If you are traveling as a group of 4, a taxi is a cheap and comfortable solution.

    From and to Ciampino Airport (CIA)

    by shuttle bus to Termini station:

    Several companies of shuttle bus (ATRAL, Terravision, SitShuttle) connect Ciampino airport and Termini station, in the centre of Rome. There is no big difference between the service and the price (some 4-6 €) of each company. If you land in Ciampino, the best option is just going to the square in front of the airport and buying the ticket of the bus which looks ready to leave. From the central station Rome Termini you are connected with the metro (line B). In only 4 stops you reach Roma Piramide. From  there take the bus 719 for 6 stops. Go out in Via dei Stradivari.

    by taxi:

    Official taxis connect Ciampino with the centre of Rome (the area inside the Aurelian Walls) for the fixed fare of 30€ (one, two, three or four people including luggage). The fixed fare is exposed on the sides of the taxis.
